TravelWise – Digital resources
Sara is currently working with Splinter Design to create a cross curricular digital learning resource for TravelWise. The web based cross curricular resources, aimed at Key Stages 2 to 4, support teachers in embedding School Travel Planning into the curriculum.
The resources include fun and informative interactive games, flexible cross curricular activities and discussion topics that link to areas of the curriculum (citizenship, geography, science, maths, education for sustainable development) to support teachers in introducing sustainable travel behaviour and climate change into the classroom.
Merseytravel and Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral Councils form the Local Transport Plan partnership. TravelWise is the partnership’s campaign to help people on Merseyside make smarter travel choices.
