Poppleton Road Primary School – Oral history project and evaluation of Centenary Celebration
Sara conducted an evaluation of a programme of HLF funded events to celebrate the Centenary of a York-based Primary School. The evaluation included a range of creative techniques with pupils, teachers and visitors to identify the extent to which the events inspired curiosity and met learning opportunities.
As part of the project Sara also conducted oral history interviews with 25 past pupils and teachers of the school ranging in age from 30 to 96.
